“Your small act of kindness can feed the hungry, educate a child, support struggling families, and bring hope to those facing hardship. Together, we can turn compassion into lasting change.”

What Is Sadaqah?
Sadaqah is a voluntary charity given purely for the sake of Allah to support those who are struggling and in need. Unlike Zakat, it is not restricted by specific conditions or amounts and can be given at any time. Whether large or small, every act of Sadaqah carries great value and reflects compassion, sincerity, and care for humanity.
Sadaqah goes beyond financial assistance; it is a means of spreading kindness, easing hardship, and strengthening bonds within the community. Through Sadaqah, individuals can help provide food to the hungry, education to children, medical aid to the sick, and support to families facing difficult circumstances. It plays a vital role in creating a society built on empathy and mutual support.
By giving Sadaqah, you not only help transform the lives of others but also invite blessings, mercy, and reward from Allah. Your generosity can become a source of hope and relief for someone in need, making a lasting impact that extends far beyond the moment of giving.

Sadaqah in the Light of the Qur’an
Sadaqah is strongly encouraged in the Qur’an as a noble act of generosity and righteousness. Allah commands believers to spend from what He has provided for them and reminds them that charity is a means of drawing closer to Him. The Qur’an highlights that giving Sadaqah purifies the heart, increases faith, and helps establish justice and compassion within society.
“Those who spend their wealth by night and by day, secretly and openly, will have their reward with their Lord. There will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:274)
Sadqah in the Light of Hadith
Sadaqah holds a very high status in Islam, as emphasized by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ encouraged believers to give charity regularly and reminded them that Sadaqah does not reduce wealth but instead brings blessings and protection. Through Sadaqah, a believer purifies their heart, strengthens faith, and earns closeness to Allah.
“Charity extinguishes sin just as water extinguishes fire.”
